[Haikyuu!!] Fujioka Kaede

So after watching the first episode of the second season my love for Kuroo was rekindled again even though you only see him like once in the first episode OTL

Originally I was going to make my first HQ OC for Kuroo but Tsukishima got my attention. Now he’s a problematic trash child for me so I’m setting aside Setsuko for bit (until I figure out how to write her profile) and start on the cat trash girlfriend’s profile yay!

Skin Tone: Slight Tan with a warm undertone

Hair: Dark brown with a reddish tint; Straight, Medium density, smooth flow to it

Eyes: Golden yellow; Slender almond shape, long eyelashes (both top and bottom)

Built: Thin but well athletic built, long legs with thick thighs, well-toned arms, and shoulders slant downwards slightly

Clothing style: Kaede prefers light/ neutral colored clothes as well as warmed toned (rose gold, copper) clothes. She like loose baggy clothes that engulf her body the majority of the time but you will see her in more form fitted clothes during the spring and summer months. Leggings are a must for her, Kaede has about 10 different pairs of leggings.

Overview

Reliable: Kaede is considered a very reliable person. She will have your back when you need her, not going back on a promise if she made one to you earlier. She has a good track record of keeping her promises and coming through for her friends and teammates on her soccer team. It’s easy to put your trust in Kaede because if she says she’ll help you or do something for you expect that she will.

Punctual: Kaede is extremely punctual, if she says that she’s going to be somewhere bet on it that she going to be there at that time. One of her pet peeves is that people say that they will be coming at a certain time and they arrive late.  

Ambitious: Kaede is ambitious to a degree, she as big dreams and aspirations. If something calls her attention and she makes it a goal for herself to achieve you will see her do everything in her power to obtain that goal. If its school wise or her club once she slips out of her lazy streak and becomes motivated she’s a force to be reckoned with.   

Independent: Financially and emotionally Kaede prefers to be independent and strong. She doesn’t feel comfortable to depend herself on other people for needs other than her parents. Kaede rather be strong in her independence so she doesn’t have to go looking for support when life decides to throw lemons at her face. This doesn’t mean that she doesn’t always need someone to provide extra support when she really needs some, in great times of need Kaede will seek out support through her close friends and family.

Down to Earth: Kaede is a relatively lay back of person, rarely getting overly excited. She’s fairly easy to talk to and to relate with. She’s practical and have somewhat realistic expectations for others. She’s straightforward with others and doesn’t like when people beat around the bush.   

Generous: If Kaede considers you close to her, expect her to readily lead out a helping hand and to bend backward for you. She doesn’t mind spending money for friends in need and giving out her support to them. She will endure hardship and loss for her family and friends in their time of need.            

Self-Indulgent: Kaede has a tendency to be extremely goal-orientated that she often forms a notion that the world revolves around herself. Her self-indulgent streak has other people consider her rude and ignorant to other emotions. She has a tendency to put her needs and wants first above other people, not really thinking twice before she does.

    Ø  Kaede likes to self-indulge in food and is very protective with her food. She rarely shares and if she does share with one it is statement saying that she actually cares about them enough to share her precious food.

 

Lazy: Kaede can be actually quite lazy especially when she is ordered to do something. Like a cat in most instances she will usually pay no head to those demands and will do it in her timing. Some may even call her a procrastinator, she will not move a muscle until she is motivated to get up and work. This is usually applied in school work or chores that she has a do around her house, you will hear her gripe and groan all the way through accomplishing those tasks much to her disagreement. The only time that you will see her not being lazy is when it comes to soccer, Kaede is very attentive and will work hard to better herself in that sport and the help better the team.

Materialistic: She can been seen as being quite materialistic in nature, Kaede puts value in objects that most people don’t. This trait steams from her parents spoiling her as a child with gifts and rather expensive objects. The more expensive the object the more excited she becomes, one can say you can literally buy her affections to a certain point. Kaede likes the fine objects in life; expensive fabrics, brand name clothes, watches, makeup. This trait also help later develop her a slight princess complex.

Idealistic: Kaede can fussy about how things should be. Even though trait is not as dominant as some of the other traits she can have a tendency to look at other works and it look mediocre to her. Kaede is currently trying work on her over judgment of other people’s works and her fussiness. Her idealism goes in par with her slight princess complex.   

Sarcastic: She is considered a “smart mouth” due to how sarcastic she can be. Normally Kaede isn’t sarcastic, but if she finds someone annoying or if someone said something stupid in her eyes she has the urge to put up a sarcastic front to them and will be snarky to them.

    Ø  Kaede became friends with Kuroo during her 1^st year at Nekoma. Being in the same class as him Kaede found herself sitting in front of the mischievous black haired boy, becoming friends with him before the year was over. Sitting behind Kaede made it easy for Kuroo to pester her knowing how agitated she gets when he does, he loves seeing how she reacts to his teasing. Even though Kaede hates his pestering  she learned to accept it and even learned how to recreate comebacks on the spot but to this day she still gets agitated when he takes his teasing a little too far at times. Other than that Kaede and Kuroo are the best of friends, constantly creating inside jokes between themselves and talking about the most obscured topics with ease.

 

They became an official couple by their second year, as their relationship is built off of their inseparable friendship during their first year. They are best friends first and lovers second, while relationship revolves around mutual respect and trust for each other; even though Kuroo lovingly  teases her to this day, maybe even more so now. Kaede goes to all of Kuroo’s game to support him and to cheer him on with the rest of the volleyball team. Being in the girls soccer team herself it not uncommon to see them jogging together in the mornings when neither of them have to train with their team. Likewise Kuroo goes and watches Kaede’s soccer matches whenever he gets the chance to.

 

They are a very affectionate couple with Kuroo always maintain physical contact with Kaede whenever they are together; it be by holding hand, his arm around her shoulders or waist, or him hugging her from behind. They don’t mind showing off to the world that they are in a relationship.

-Origins-

Prefecture: Tokyo

Biography: Kaede was born and lived for a part of her early childhood in the Yamanashi prefecture. After her younger sister Nobuko was born five years later Kaede’s family decided to relocate to Tokyo since her father got a better paying job in the city. Kaede comes from a semi traditional family, with her father working full time as a business man for a large cooperation that deals with abroad affair. While her mother works part-time as cashier at a local market down the street from their house. Kaede’s father is almost never home due to his work but he finds time to video chat with his family whenever he’s aboard due to work affairs. Whenever he does comeback home he often brings gifts for Kaede and the rest of the family from the countries that he was staying at for work. This actually feed Kaede’s love of exotic and expensive objects that will turn into materialism later on.

   Kaede’s first year in primary school was spent in the Yamanashi prefecture but after the move she finished out the rest of her primary school in Tokyo. Kaede first got interested in soccer when she was ten years old, while walking home from school she noticed a group of older teenagers playing the sport as she walked through a park. Something about the sport was exciting for her, the way the players zigged zagged through the field, how graceful they look kicking the ball, everything about that sport called her attention. She found herself being drawn into the match and decided to sit down and watch the match playout.  

When she graduated primary school and went to middle school Kaede joined the girls’ soccer team.  Kaede started out as one the defending players but later on through much practice and training proved herself to the coach and was placed as the attacking midfielder; which she still plays as to this day in the high school team. When Kaede started going to Nekoma she in an instant decided to join the girls’ soccer team there playing as the attacking midfielder again but as regular was she would like. Around the end of her second year the coach decided to make Kaede the regular midfielder which she plays into her 3^rd year.
